‘Woodlands’ is an open brief project exploring unique vessel moulds paired with marketable packaging. Drawing on mystical folk themes, the project focuses on the interplay between materiality and nature. While the vessel is delicate and almost feels transient, the packaging portrays the whimsical and fairy-like story behind the collection through imagery and finishes such as gold foiling, used to bring the magic of the woodlands to life. The candle vessel is made to feel like a delicate ornamental object to be valued and treasured. Each of the fragrances have been curated carefully to build a olfactive narrative of wandering through woodlands.
